Trade Nova — Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Trade Nova's website, platform, products, and services. By using the platform you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

- "Platform fees": service or processing fees charged and retained by Trade Nova for platform operations (distinct from external blockchain fees or government taxes).
- "External fees": network, miner, or blockchain gas fees and any government taxes or levies.

3. Accounts, KYC & AML

3.1 Account creation: Users must provide accurate information. Certain refund requests may require identity verification.
3.2 Compliance: Trade Nova may request KYC documents to process refunds or disputed transactions in accordance with AML policies.

4. Deposits & Withdrawals

4.1 Deposits: Deposits may incur a small platform handling fee described at the time of deposit.
4.2 Withdrawals: Withdrawals may show an estimated platform processing fee. External network fees may also apply and vary by cryptocurrency.

5. Fees, "Taxes", and Refund Policy

5.1 Distinction: Any references to "taxes" in our UI or documentation refer to internal platform fees unless explicitly noted as government or external taxes.

5.2 Refundable platform fees: Trade Nova's platform fees (including deposit handling fees and withdrawal processing fees) are fully refundable under the conditions listed below. Refunds do not apply to external blockchain fees or governmental taxes imposed by third parties.

5.3 Refund conditions: A full refund of platform fees will be issued when one or more of the following apply:
- The transaction was not completed due to an internal platform error.
- Duplicate or accidental charges were applied and verified by Trade Nova.
- The user cancels a deposit or withdrawal within the time window described at the point of action (where applicable).

5.4 Refund process:
- Request: Users must submit a refund request via the support contact with the transaction ID, email, and supporting evidence.
- Verification: Trade Nova may require transaction logs and optional KYC verification to prevent fraud.
- Timing: Verified refunds are processed within 7 business days. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method or wallet where possible. If returning to the original method is impossible, Trade Nova will work with the user to provide an appropriate alternative.

5.5 Reversal of fees: Where a refund is issued, platform fee reversals will be recorded in the user's account and reflected in transaction history.

6. Disputes & Chargebacks

6.1 If a user disputes a charge, Trade Nova will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Proofs and logs will be used to adjudicate cases.

7. Risk Disclosure & No Investment Advice

7.1 Market risk: Cryptocurrency markets are volatile. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
7.2 Not financial advice: Content on the platform does not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. Users should consult professional advisors for their specific circumstances.

8. Liability & Indemnity

8.1 Limitation of liability: Trade Nova will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses. For verified platform fee errors entitling refunds, liability is limited to the refunded fee amount.

8.2 Indemnity: Users agree to indemnify Trade Nova against claims arising from misuse of the service or breach of these Terms.

9. Modifications

Trade Nova may modify these Terms; we will post updates and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
